We recommend booking your spray tan 1- 2 days before your event. This will give your tan time to develop and ensure that it looks natural and at its best.
For a natural tan 2-3 days is best.
Use the following checklist to prepare for your spray tan:
Before appointment
Day of appointment
The colour you want to achieve will depend on how to best care for your tan post appointment. At your appointment we will give you instruction on when best to have your first shower, but here are some general rules to follow:
This will depend on the colour that you wish to achieve. The VANI-T Liquid Sun range can deliver colour in as little as 1 hour for the lightest tan, 4 hours for a medium to dark tan, and 8 plus hours for the deepest tan.
Spray tanning isn't considered a treatment that penetrates the skin or enters the blood stream, so many women feel that it is safe. If you are concerned, and you are in the first trimester, it is best to speak with your doctor before booking an appointment.
The VANI-T Liquid Sun range is available in 3 chocolate base shades - Medium, Dark and Ultra Dark. The MINE Pro Spray Mists are available in a green-based shade as well as an ash-based shade. Your spray tan professional will be able to help you choose a base shade that suits your skin tone for an intense true to life colour.
We recommend using the VANI-T Tan Eraser Mousse or MINE Tan Eraser available in store.
Both ranges are cruelty free, vegan and organic based.
It is best to get an approval from your dermatologist or doctor before booking your spray tan. If you are given the go ahead, we will do a patch test to ensure you have no reaction.
